NFL: Tom Brady Returns

By Daniel Ferdinand

Well now Tom Brady could very well be superman. If last nights game would have been part of a movie we all would have turned off because it's way to unbelievable.

In his first game since week 1 last season Brady threw for 378 yards and two touchdowns, as the Patriots won late in the game.

The question I have is why oh why did Leodis McKelvin try and run the kick off back. Why did he not just settle for the touchback, which would have given the Bills the ball on their own 20 yard line. I'm sure as the Bills will wake up this morning and this defeat will be hard for them to swallow.

Brady is back and the NFL is better for his return. This season could see a shoot out between Brady and Brees (New Orleans Saints) in the race of league MVP. If week 1 is anything to go by we are in for a cracker.

In Monday nights other game, the Raiders found a way to throw the win away against the Chargers. Quarterback JaMarcus Russell looked like the 1st overall draft talent he is being paid for. Russell even blocked two players on a reverse play and threw the ball with power and skill.

The off season reports coming out of Oakland were about Russell taking a number of recievers away for private training away from the media. The hard work looks like it's starting to paid off.

Oakland still have a number of holes but this defeat shows that they my not be the worst team in the league. Plus former Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour looks ready to play. Seymour spent much of the game in the backfield hunting Phillip Rivers. He is a great signing if the Raiders can keep him happy and focused.
